Commission e-mails are used to contact commissioners and send payment, and site style preferences are used to save a style preference instead of changing it all the time.
E-mails are sent exclusively over SSL, and for especially confidential information — such as payment info — they may be strongly encrypted.

Fafnir Tech makes a good-faith effort to retain relevant e-mail addresses for up to 90 days after a commission has completed, in case of further comments on the work. Site Style Preference cookies expire after one week.
